Kenneth Millington is an artist and educator based in New York. His representational paintings and drawings engage with concepts of entropy, artifact and media studies. He participated in numerous residencies including Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, Jentel, and the Tao Hua Tan Artist Residency (Anhui Province, China). His artwork has been exhibited in many venues including the Hefei- Kurume Friendship Gallery (China), the CICA Museum (South Korea), the First AIM Biennial at the Bronx Museum (NY), EMUSA Gallery (La Paz Bolivia) and the Painting Biennial (Cincinnati, Ohio). He was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship, several Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grants and an A.I.M Fellowship. He received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, an MFA from the School of Visual Arts, and studied independently with renowned artist Ricardo Perez Alcala in La Paz, Bolivia. Kenneth worked for many years as a large- scale public muralist completing numerous exterior projects throughout the Northeast United States. He is an Assistant Professor of Imaging, Representation and Methods at Parsons, School of Design in New York City.
